Pompeo says urging Israelis, Palestinians to re-engage

U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said Monday he was urging the Palestinians and Israelis to resume political engagement and said of recent violence on the border with the Gaza Strip that he believed Israel had the right to defend itself.
