WAR WITH GOD
Lucifer's Last Stand: A Dialogue with his Disciples
Chandan Rozario
In the depths of hell, where darkness reigns,
Lucifer sat with his disciples in chains.
They spoke of a war, a battle to come,
Against the Almighty, the great and the one.
Lucifer spoke with a voice like fire,
"Prepare for war, my disciples, don't tire.
We'll take on God, we'll win this fight,
With our cunning and strength, we'll show our might."
His disciples, eager and filled with hate,
Agreed with their master, they couldn't wait.
They sharpened their swords and readied their shields,
Their eyes filled with malice, their hearts cold as steel.
"We'll strike at dawn, when the angels sleep,
We'll show no mercy, we'll strike them deep.
We'll bring down the heavens, we'll make them fall,
And in their ruins, we'll stand tall."
Lucifer smiled at his disciples' zeal,
But in his heart, he knew the deal.
The war they sought was one they'd lose,
Against the Almighty, they had no use.
He spoke to his followers, "Our cause is just,
But in this fight, we'll be nothing but dust.
Our pride will be our downfall, our ego our bane,
We'll be cast out of heaven, to suffer in eternal pain."
His disciples scoffed, they wouldn't hear,
They'd come too far, they had no fear.
But Lucifer knew the truth, he saw the end,
Their war against God, they couldn't defend.
And so the dialogue ended, the stage was set,
For a battle they'd lose, a war they'd regret.
Lucifer and his disciples, prepared to fight,
Against the Almighty, the force of light
